PICKLING PROCESS

   Pickling is a subtle skill that will probably save you a good amount of cash and will help ensure that the pickles you're consuming are healthier and free of chemical preservatives.
In this article I will tell you how my mom make tasty pickle.

Why visit your local grocery stores for pickles
when you can learn to make them at your own home?

CUCUMBER PICKLE 

CONDIMENTS:

  • 1 large or 2 medium aged cucumber       

  • 2 tbsp. mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp. turmeric powder
  • Salt as Desired
  • 1/2 tbsp. cayenne
  • 1/2 cup mustard oil


PROCESS:

  1. Rinse the cucumbers thoroughly and chop off the ends.
  2. Quarter them end-to-end and remove the seeds along with pulps.                  
  3. Rinse again and dice them into bite-size pieces and set aside in a large bowl.
  4. Heat the oil and splutter some mustard seeds.
  5. Pour the oil and mustard over the cucumber pieces and toss in rest of condiments.
  6. Mix vigorously before tightly stuffing the pickle jar with the cucumbers.
  7. Soak in the sun.

Primes in: Five -Six days in strong
